Back from the wonderful, blissful European Snake Doctor Tour/adventure! Germany, Belgium,Ireland and Switzerland! Two months of trains, planes, Snitzel, beautiful women, great festivals, rain, rivers mountains, more rain, tall thick green forest, Alps, German, Irish, Belgium, Swiss beer (just a taste), walking, walking, stairs, stairs... and more trains...Now, It's taking time to unwind...Had a bunch of things to tend to when arriving home, like an a/c decided not to work anymore..hahaha! Hey...it's all good. Had a gig weekend before last @ Jester Brewery (a trip worth taking) in Dripping Springs. Played with the Ole Skylark Dude's (Gary Newcomb, Daniel Jones and Brandon Gonzales) with no rehearsals in 2 years and didn't miss a lick...these guys own my songs.

We’ll be performing from 2-4:00pm today, Sunday October 6th at Vista Brewery! The Skylark Band (Brandon Gonzales, Daniel Jones and Gary Newcomb)and myself will be having fun with playing ‘just the hits’!

Anybody in Munich, Germany tomorrow night (September 15th) can catch my solo show at the Rattlesnake Saloon from 5:00 to 8:30…the last show of an amazing tour that started July 16th! I thank God for the good friends, new and old, who got us from stage to stage, country to country, train to train, plane to plane, room to room, bed to bed, rehearsal to rehearsal, schnitzel to schnitzel (with a beer) again…over and over again and again. I’m flying home Monday from Munich…and look forward to seeing each and every one of you…btw, how are you doing?

I’m not interested in ‘pitching’ a thing...just thought I’d say ‘hello’... I‘m in Europe meeting and staying with absolutely wonderful people here in Bonn, Germany. Tomorrow Ronny Rosenberg and I will be performing, as a duo, at a Bonn hospice and then, with full band, head to Belgium Friday after a festival in Bonn on Thursday. Amazing what can ‘get done’ when you put your mind to it. I hope everyone back home is doing well. I miss you just a ‘tinny’ bit…

Man, this Ireland trip is like the Bibical story of Paul going to Rome...
We were late for the initial flight, Ryan Air confiscated my pocket knife (they called it a weapon), then sure enough we missed to the flight...rebooked ($400), Got to Dublin, our wonderful host, Mick, picked us up...had a big breakfast the next morning, and Mick tested positive with Covid! Of course we all have been quarantined, doing pretty good but missing some siteseeing...We did have a great evening in the village of Dunshaughlin @ Peter's Pub playing with Scottsman, Lloyd Reid! Amazing guitarist...We discovered one thing...Guiness doesn't travel. The Guiness ANYWHERE else, is not like the Guiness in Ireland...as the Irish say, "Guiness doesn't travel!!" Two shows this Saturday, one in Howth@4pm (Howth Blues and Roots Fesitval) and one show to the west coast and 3 hours away in Galway@Club De Burgos@9pm.
