Her passion for lending started during the purchase of her first home in 2019. Due to her single salaried income, becoming pre-approved for a home within city limits took several denied applications before finally reaching a lender that told her yes. It became apparent to her then just how much mortgage lenders control access to wealth through real estate. Fast forward to now, she focuses dually o

n helping first time home buyers and first time investors build their net worth. In 2022 alone, Briana was responsible for helping 6 families gain access to over $3 million dollars real estate assets after another lender told them they did not qualify. Briana leverages all of the tools in her belt to get someone on the ladder; from down payment assistance programs, to high networth asset based loans, Briana puts the pieces together to help anyone build wealth through real estate. In her spare time, she volunteers as Events Chair with Austin Black Real Estate Professionals, Project Manager for _OFCOLOR, and is the President of her BNI Chapter, Legacy Builders.

READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO BE PROTECTED FROM TRIGGER LEADS! ‼️‼️ First of all you might be wondering- what is a trigger lead and why do I want protection from them? A trigger lead is when the credit bureaus sell your information to- name, contact info, sometimes even credit rating-to multiple mortgage lenders (that you don’t know,) immediately after getting your credit pulled with with a lender you are working with. The idea is that this lead is HOT and you are obviously looking to take out a mortgage in the future since your credit has been run. This is legal (as of now) with the assumption that this creates healthy competition and gives consumers more options to shop their mortgage rates. While good in theory, it’s a NIGHTMARE for borrowers because it can lead to no lie- 50 phone calls within an hour of random, often unlicensed, call center loan officers just trying to pitch them a deal. So how do you stop the mortgage bug-a-boos?! Fill out a form to opt-out of prescreened offers online- I recommend doing it at least 5 days before getting your credit ran. This gives time to get you on a do not call list!
