Colombian President Petro had authorized flights and provided all needed authorizations and then canceled his authorization when the planes were in the air. As demonstrated by today’s actions, we are unwavering in our commitment to end illegal immigration and bolster America’s border security.”

Hopefully, they will also fix the immigration process to encourage more people to come to America legally!

DV2025 Interview Experience
Hi everyone I’m 👩🏾 from Ghana but in the UK 🇬🇧 .
My interview was supposed to be 9th Jan but I was rescheduled to 10th January because the 9th was a holiday in the state.
Interview time was 9:30am, got there at 6:45am and was 12 in the queue.
At 7:30 they began to check appointments letters.
When it got to me turn it was signed and was asked to come back at 9am.
So went to get some breakfast. Got there at 9am and went through security checks.
Join a queue for a number and was directed to where DV visa are done.
Over there myself and my husband were called for documents then he told us our medical report is not in so I should call them and my husband so do the payment.
I did and was told they sent it on 3rd January. Few minutes they found them and asked us to wait for the interview.
After 3 people we were called
Cc. Hello
Husband and me.. hello
Cc.. read the oaths asking us to lift our right hands
Husband and me … yes
Cc.. H put your four fingers on the machine for his finger print then I did same.
Cc.. what your highest level of education holding the certificate and checking from the DS forms on the computer
Husband…answered
Cc.. how many years 2 or 3
Husband…answered
Cc.. were will be ur final destination in the Us
We answered
Cc.. why
We answered
Cc.. since when have you been in the Uk 🇬🇧
We answered
Cc.. what for
We answer
Cc…What do I do
I answered
Cc.. and him
He answered.
Cc ..approved, I will give you ur original documents and when it ready we deliver to the address.
We said okay and took our documents and left

NB.
They didn’t take affidavit of support even though we had them because it was part of the mail the embassy sent us,
No bank statements
No payslips
No photos
No joint documents
Even though we had all of them with us

So far, the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia 🇪🇹 is the highest performing embassy for DV Lottery winners!
Few years ago, I remember frustrated Ethiopians making online campaigns to call for attention their winners… I hope other poorly performing embassies will sit up and improve their performance.
