I am a mixed-media artist living in Aurora, Colorado. When I began my art career over 25 years ago, I worked in a realistic style in watercolor and oils. Eventually, my work evolved into a more abstract style and led to my work with textures, collages, and fluid acrylic paints. I am a certified Art Educator with Golden Paints. I have taught thousands of artists in workshops around the United States for over 20 years. While the New Year is often when we think about fresh starts, spring feels like a second chance to reset and refocus.

If January felt like a ‘false start,’ this season offers a chance to pick things back up. And if you’re already soaring, it’s like a little boost to carry you into the rest of the year.

For me, spring is the perfect time to create new art while also rediscovering familiar work through fresh eyes.
