All Hallows’ Angels x THINK Mural Resurrection

Culture Stock & TBA will be onsite, recreating the histortic street art “THINK” mural 👨🏿‍🎨🧑🏻‍🎨👨🏼‍🎨

Angels will be displayed throughout the garden for youth who have died at the hands of misplaced hate and gun violence in particular.

If you have an angel to remember, we encourage you to attend and sharpie a white candle with their name and light it in their memory.

Aurora Fire Department will also provide LIVE CPR demonstrations from 12PM-2PM

Over a dozen volunteers showed up today to help with the community garden! These Peace Poles were painted by local artists and form a symbolic fence around the garden.

Special thanks to Gin Ingram Art for coordinating the art; they are all so beautiful and unique. And to Concrete Rose Studios for everything that happens here.

Vegetables for the surrounding community are now being tended to!

This has been one of our favorite website glow-ups yet. Gio Rodriguez, CEO of PreMil in Aurora Downtown, approached us with a dilemma. He found himself unsatisfied with PreMil’s online presence. In light of the recent unfortunate events in our city, Concrete Rose Studios will host a free “Change the Narrative” Resume Workshop in March or April. The best method to combat criminality is to facilitate opportunity. We cannot stand to see more blood shed in our streets over ma*****na - especially since the recreational use and controlled distribution of it has been legalized. We are seeking support from the community in the form of access to a computer lab for 2 hours so that workshop attendees can have a hands-on experience with the technology as well as outreach for at-risk youth and young adults. In addition, if there is a photographer willing to volunteer to take professional headshots, that would be greatly appreciated. We will be encouraging attendees to come dressed in business casual or professional attire. To ensure we get a good turnout, we would like to have business professional tops in mixed sizes available for attendees to use in photographs so that none feel unwelcome due to the lack of dress. Our leadership invites you to support this through advocacy for a more peaceful, forgiving and empowering Aurora.

50 shades of steak anyone? 🥵 Indulge in some for a cause. We’re heating things up here at Concrete Rose in preparation for a major fundraiser we are donating our marketing and event planning services for Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry ❤️ The chef featured in this video is Horacio “Nacho” Garza, a war veteran and award winning local, celebrity chef. He’s one of three that will compete in a cook-off next week. Stay tuned for videos of the other two chefs coming soon!

In our first month of operating, Concrete Rose Studios contributed a total of $1,000 to 3 local nonprofit organizations. We thank our clients for supporting small and local, it is through their business that we are able to give back. An enterprise is only as strong as the community it serves, we look forward to increasing our charitable giving as we grow.
