🎼The Greatest Band Of All Time

There has been a lot of discussion over the years about the greatest band, or most influential musician or group of musicians of all time.

While it certainly can be argued that Beethoven, Mozart, or other great classical composers and artists should take this top position, there is no arguing with results.

Today's most successful musicians, groups, with their top tracks, and songs, and even their on stage antics which draw thousands upon thousands of crowds to their shows, can all thank one specific group for their success (this has been proven, and meticulously documented). This group is the real deal, the ones who blazed the trail, the ones who musicians all strive to emulate with every note and with every single performance, and the ones who after defining a generation reshaped the very world we live in.

They are, of course...

Our teaser for season one is out!

The season kicks off with "Across The Universe" an episode focusing on The Life and times of The Beatles!

The Dad Rock Podcast is breaking new ground when it comes to genres and format. We are officially a music history / sci-fi show, and will not be sticking to the normal half hour format, but instead allowing our episodes, which are content heavy, to run an hour to an hour and a half each. This way, we can cover as much as possible of the Life and times of each artist that we are diving into.

The Beatles

It is hard to pick a favorite album when it comes to The Beatles.

I would say that "Revolver" takes that honor for an album containing all original content...

But as far as an album that you will keep playing over and over, because of the sheer volume of amazing songs compiled in one place, The Beatles "Blue Album", or as it's officially titled; "The Beatles 1967 - 1970", takes the prize.

So if you haven't heard it yet, just ask Alexa to play it, or you can find it on pretty much any of the major music streaming services.

On the days when my body gives me some energy as well as a bit of relief from the pain, I am working on the premier episode of my brand new show. I have high hopes that you will enjoy listening to it as much as I am enjoying putting it together on my end!

I have just received permission from 🍏 Apple Records to add their content to this introductory show, which is extraordinary! It took months, and a little bit of back and forth to get to the point where I can take it from script to production. I was waiting, with fingers crossed, for the Ok to go ahead from the good folks across the pond... And it finally came! So, it's time to begin, and start piecing together a show that will live up to the trust Apple Records has put in me. 🤞
