It's time for me to brag for a minute on two incredible women doing something truly special right here in beautiful downtown Augusta.

Bo***ir by Ashley and Serpent & Sage, led by the amazing Ashley and Nikki, have created a space unlike anything else in our community—a safe, uplifting haven where women can embrace their beauty, their confidence, and their power without apology.

Ashley started Bo***ir by Ashley back in 2019, with a heart for helping women fall back in love with themselves. Not long after, Nikki joined her as a hair and makeup artist, and the two have been the dream team ever since. Together, they’ve been on a mission to remove the stigma and the “taboo” not only around bo***ir photography but also around lingerie itself. Instead, they’ve turned both into a celebration of self-love, confidence, and empowerment.

But it didn't stop there. After hearing client after client struggle to find lingerie that actually fits—and actually feels good—Nikki and Ashley opened Serpent & Sage, an upscale lingerie boutique with a heart for every woman who walks through the door.

Brian At Little Guide here again! Here's a nice photo of our guy Donnie Peel stood right next to an absolutely top notch business owner and anything automotive repair guy, Robbie Roberson of Robbie's Automotive Service Center. What you might already know is the fact that Robbie takes pride in cultivating a relationship with his customers. Aside from running a top flight auto repair shop, the good folks at Robbie's go the extra mile in the customer service department. One conversation with Robbie himself and you'll feel like you've made a new friend...and you'll KNOW for a fact that your vehicle is good hands with a fella you can trust. In my experience, that makes Robbie's a rare bird.

What you might NOT know is the fact that Robbie owns TWO repair shops. That's right, he owns the Robbie's location on Riverwatch Parkway along with Quality Car Care Center of Evans. That's right, folks. Two shops at two locations...same fantastic service and integrity. The world needs more folks like Robbie in it. In my opinion, two shops sharing the same philosophy of relationship building over transactional interactions is a most positive development.

Go see the good folks at either location for your car care needs and rest assured you will be well taken care of.

Normally, in the course of a day's work, I'm meeting new people...and that's awesome! But you know what else is awesome? Catching up with old friends during a business meeting.

Meet Pamela Holmes, a licensed insurance agent with Wanda Grandle: Allstate Insurance. Pamela and I go way back(IYKYK) and I consider her to be amongst my best friends.

That said, she's also my personal insurance agent. There are many things to respect about Pamela. I have found her to be highly responsive and professional in all of our interactions. I have always felt like she was an ally(right along with Wanda). Pam guided us through the aftermath of Helene, which saw us lose a roof and two cars amongst other significant property damage. She has my respect and admiration. We needed a lot of hand holding through all of that.

Brian At Little Guide here once again! In my vocation, I meet wildly interesting folks daily. Today, I'd like to introduce you to Alyssa and Al'Maad Gardner. This married couple are the proud proprietors of FLX Connect.

After both completed time in the military, they were looking for an entrepreneurial endeavor they could embark upon together. FLX was the result.

Their mission to empower creators, entrepreneurs, and professionals to connect, collaborate and grow led to this shared workspace featuring day passes, 24 hour access, membership levels and ala carte services like professional podcasting production(masterfully handled by Al'Maad, a graduate of Full Sail University). It's a beautiful facility with a focus on a low distraction aesthetic.
