Mario “DJ Dent” Dent is the founder of Dent Squad Entertainment, a DJ and event entertainment company built on passion, family, and good vibes. With a lifelong love for music that began in his childhood—spinning his mom’s vinyl records and imagining himself as Jam Master Jay—DJ Dent brings unmatched energy, versatility, and charisma to every event.
From Run-D.M.C. to Frank Sinatra, his diverse musical taste fuels his ability to connect with any crowd. After years of being “the guy with the music” at every party, in 2022 Mario turned his hobby into a business, driven by the love and support of his wife, Britainy, and their family. Carolina Borders is the First Lady of DTLE, and serves as our Logistical Expert. She works flawlessly behind the scenes; setting up/breaking down equipment, coordinating with other vendors throughout the night, and ensuring that every event goes smoothly.

Carolina is originally from Santiago, Chile. 🇨🇱 She is bilingual; and has been surrounded by music her entire life. While in college, Carolina joined a latin dance group, and danced in several competitions across GA. She even taught a Bachata dance class at her university! Carolina brings that same passion, precision, and fun to our events.

When Carolina isn’t partying with us, she enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with her family. If you see Carolina at your next event; make sure to say Hello! 👋🏿

“Business Owner” has a nice ring to it, huh?
If you didn’t know, I’ve been making some big changes! Recently, I left my Full Time Job of 5 years to run my own Company. But I’m sure you knew that…Let’s talk about some things you may not know.
1.) Music is a BIG Part of my Life.
I’ve grown up with an instrument in my hand since I’ve turned 10. I’ve played the alto saxophone since middle school, the drums since highschool, and have played in church as long as I can remember. I’m an avid R&B head, and will choose 80’s-90’s Slow Jamz everytime.
2.) I’m a Big Kid at Heart.
In my free time, you can catch me playing video games, perfecting my At-Home Racing Simulator, or reminding my wife which Marvel movies we have to see next. Life is too short not to have fun; and luckily, it’s my job to do just that. I’ve also got my eyes on my first motorcycle 👀, maybe that’ll be my next thing! 🏍️
3.) I’m Just Trying to Spread Some Joy.
I absolutely LOVE what I do. Being able to speak through music, and build the soundtrack to people’s biggest moments- that’s what is about. That’s what gives me joy, and maybe- it’ll give you some joy too. 😊
