WHAT A DAY! Coach Tim Robbins and I set out to fish the Sunshine State Crappie Trail tournament this morning on Dora facing a 15mph north wind. We pulled up to our first spot and stayed there most of the day where we managed to boat around 300 fish and culled our way to a second place finish. Every single fish was caught on a 1/8oz Fearless Jigs “Grass Shrimp” we had a total weigh of 8.77 congrats to Donald Hilbun for catching a mega bag of 9.70 for the win!

Happy New Year everyone!! 2024 was a great year for us. We we started a huge expansion and we are almost where we want to be. We had a ton of new products released in 2024 and we are hoping for many more in 2025! We are excited for 2025!

This should change the bite up a little, what are y’all’s thoughts!?

🥶❄️ Cold Weather Update:

1. My feed is plastered with cold and snow posts for January. I'm sure yours is too.

2. Here's the bottom line. Freezing temps are likely in our area the weekend of January 11th. Not much more can be figured out this far out.

3. I showed this map a few days ago. With a major cold outbreak possible, some models are showing "Gulf effect" precip. Think Lake Effect up North but in the Gulf. If it's cold enough, sure, there could be flurries in Florida. I mean, it happens from time to time. It IS Winter, after all.

4. I shy away from "sky is falling" posts during hurricane season. But when we're talking about the outside chance of a few snowflakes in Florida, I don't see the harm. Just my opinion. Do I think it's gonna happen in our area? Probably not. Could it? Sure, why not? Is it fun to speculate and have fun with? Absolutely.

5. The map below shows the % chances of tenth of an inch of accumulated snow for next weekend. I lived in Gainesville in 1989 when we had 2" of snow on Christmas. Don't tell ME it can't snow in Florida. 🤣❄️
