12 AM Monday morning New York launched their congestion tolls. According to the New York Times, supporters chanted 'pay that toll' as cars drove in. Apparently the tolls are to reduce traffic in New York and encourage more people to use Public Transportation, which in return will spark a major revenue boost to support mass transit.
