Notice how she turned down the first, then the second asked again in what appears to be a book of some sort and she turns it down again, this time the friend asks for picture claiming he'd do anything for her including knock everyone out. The other friend still insisted on getting her the book and in all of this, no...one...helped.... couldn'tve been me there. It wouldve went totally different... but Taraji? A Queen.

She fought to bring in plus size models, shorter models, Black models from "the hood" and southern models who would've never gotten a chance. Revisionist History says Tyra was cruel to models, but what Tyra did with ANTM was prepare the girls for the mode world that she did not create, but lived in, and knew how they would speak to, treat, and what they'd expect from models, while breaking down all of those barriers that allows for models of today to have careers, but also for her to restart her modeling career as a plus size, older beauty and a Super Model Legend!

: rightfully defends Joy-Ann Reid against a RAC (see below). Joy-Ann Reids show "The Reidout" was one of the highest rated shows at MSNBC, and one of the top shows after Rachel Maddow's. Regardless of her viewership, which was often in the normal and consistent range, the RAC rhetoric spewed by those wanting to be chosen by the counterparts who often want nothing to do with them can no longer be ignored, especially not in this climate. The RAC's will not be named, they will be ignored, unsupported and called out henceforth. Thank you Angela for speaking up! ! 🙏🏾🖤

Can We Trust "The People's Union"?

: started today 12AM midnight. And while TheBLACKMedia supports the idea, we have concerns about the founder, the appropriation, and the erasure. To be clear, we are in no way making claims that there is foul play here, or that the almost $70,000 raised will be misused, we are simply questioning the founder, and his practices.
And while on the surface it appears John Schwarz is a standup guy who's only looking out for the people, the obvious use of clearly appropriated Black Power tactics, symbols, signs, structure, language, iconography, and infrastructure to come is very alarming considering there seems to be absolutely no Black People involved, nor mentioned in what is very clearly stemming from systemic oppression that negatively impacts us, not White people.
While this movement has bones, it has failed to realize and join the movements that have been around for years, and in recent months have established clear goals for the outright disrespect Black people have faced due to the trump administration.
I still encourage everyone to join the Blackout, however, , , , .Informed, and several others have already effectively boycotted TARGET and other companies. As you see here, John has a Target boycott set for late summer.
If this pans out, we hope John continues what seems to be great transparency, inclusion, and integrity, we do hope however that he takes into consideration the appropriation and potential erasure here as he moves forward. Respectfully, it's not "the people" of America that are grossly, majorly, and tangibly impacted by the current administration, it's literally The Black People that are suffering. Can we trust this?
