“Capacity,” was created in late 2020 to reflect the tension and struggles we are still facing currently: a global pandemic, racial oppression and police brutality, and LGBTQ+ discrimination. It also explores and celebrates black resilience, q***r intersectionality, and the power of ancestral religion.
_
This story mirrors our struggles, and highlights our resilience.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, .reveries is spotlighting and interviewing a few of our amazing female clients/collaborators with our series.
Today, we continue with Brittaney Harden (), a writer and expressionist from Atlanta, Ga.
We asked Brittaney: What woman inspires you daily?
Her answer: “The women who inspire me daily are the women who choose to get up and show up for another day despite any challenges that they may face. Right now that woman is my younger sister.”
Thank you for being a DRM collaborator and a series feature. Stay tuned for more! ✨
📸: Still taken from our short film, “Capacity,” which featured Brittaney as a lead actor, as well as one of her original spoken word pieces entitled, “Capacity.” Check out the film, “Capacity,” on the OTV app!

Happy Friday! In celebration of Women’s History Month, .reveries is spotlighting and interviewing a few of our amazing female clients/collaborators with our series.
Our second feature is Brittaney Harden (), a writer and expressionist from Atlanta, Ga. Brittaney writes to inspire and to shed light, and plans to publish her memoir, “Finding Home,” in 2022.
We asked Brittaney: Why are you proud to be a black woman?
Her answers: I’m proud to be a black woman because black women are resilient. Black women are ferocious, and black women are tender. I am proud to be a black woman because black is beautiful and black don’t crack. I’m proud to be a black woman; there’s no other race I’d rather be.”
Thank you for being a DRM collaborator and a series feature. Stay tuned for more! ✨

Happy International Women’s Day! To celebrate the occasion in conjunction with Women’s History Month, .reveries is spotlighting and interviewing a few of our amazing female clients/collaborators with our series.
Continuing with our first feature Katlin Davenport (), a graduating senior at the University of West Georgia.
We asked Katlin: What advice would you give to young girls blossoming into their woman hood?
Her Answer: “My advice would be to love yourself before trying to love anyone else and always, always, always be proud of your looks. God gave them to you for a reason and you are beautiful. There’s no such thing as an ugly girl.”
Thank you for being a DRM client and a series feature. Stay tuned for more! ✨

Happy Women’s History Month! To celebrate the occassion, .reveries is spotlighting and interviewing a few of our amazing female clients/collaborators with our series.
Continuing with our first feature Katlin Davenport (), a graduating senior at the University of West Georgia.
We asked Katlin: How do you express your femininity?
Her Answer: “I would say the biggest way I express and embrace my femininity is through my clothes and hair. My hair is my crown and regardless of what people think about it, it’s mine and I love it. I do so much to take care of my hair and help it grow big. For my clothes, I’ve recently started to love my body so I try to show it off when i can (when its appropriate lol). But curves are beautiful and I love mine.”
Thank you for being a DRM client and a series feature. Stay tuned for more! ✨

Happy Women’s History Month! To celebrate the occassion, .reveries is spotlighting and interviewing a few of our amazing female clients/collaborators with our series.
Introducing our first feature Katlin Davenport, a graduating senior at the University of West Georgia. After graduation, she plans to earn her master’s degree in Marine Biology. Her career objective: “I want to study the behavioral patterns of marine mammals and work with fixing the problem of invasive species, at the same to better the planet.”
We asked Katlin: who is one woman in your life you look up to most?
Her answer: “I cant pick one single woman because every woman that I’ve known in my life-whether it be my family members, teachers, or coworkers-have all taught me things that I still use today. I respect all the stories they tell me and take it to heart.”
Thank you Katlin for being a DRM client and a series feature. Stay tuned for more! ✨
