Join us on Friday evening from 7-9pm for the return of our specialty show PLANET 8! Hosted by two of our djs, Ruki and Nerdboink, PLANET 8 is a show dedicated to showcasing what’s happening in the growing nightlife/dj scene in Atlanta, with the intention of aiding in building the community and bring new listeners to the dancefloors of various places in ATL where you can catch the DJs we will be hosting on the show! Every week we will be hosting one DJ who will play a set during our show time and sometimes will be accompanied by an interview!

This week we have the pleasure of hosting an interview with Ree de La Vega ()accompanied with a dj set by Nolan (.dj)! Ree has left a lasting impact on Atlanta’s music scene—and she’s only just beginning. Since November of last year, her club Pisces has made a splash in our nightlife, booking heavy-hitters like DJ Swisha, DJ Sliink, Jialing, Crystallmess, Nikki Nair, and many other talented DJs and producers. Ree has been a professional DJ for nearly 15 years and is known for curating events such as Chaka Khan Hacienda and AV Radio (that purple train car you might have noticed on the Beltline or downtown). She also organized the most recent Atlanta Pride, bringing out Ocean Kelly, Gorp, Honey Balenciaga, and Uniqu3 among other talents.

Tune in to hear from Ree following some fun blends featuring jungle, drum n bass, and more by seasoned Atlanta DJ, Nolan!

Hey wrascals, it has been a very eventful week and an unfortunate loss to a lot of communities across the US. However, we must stand together in unity and have each others back in these times of need. Be the change you want to see in the world through advocating, educating, and being a positive influence! Also, find what makes you happy and ways to destress. Music is a huge influence in peoples day to day life so hopefully the tracks in our new weekly rotation can put a smile on your face today!
