Kristie Janel formerly known as “Kristie L. Sibley” has traveled and performed in various
venues; performing concerts, participating in industry showcases and other special events. Kristie Janel has performed at premier events opening up for “A List” gospel artist such as CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mom & Pop Winans & Albertina Walker. She also performed at the Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat on BET network television and at the prestigious Trumpet Awards Gala celebration for its founder Xernona Clayton who hosts the annual “Trumpet Awards” on TBS TV Network. In addition, she had the honor of singing at Carnegie Hall with the Georgia Youth Chorale in New York City. In 1996, Kristie sang with the Atlanta Centennial Mass Choir's recorded project as a salute to the 1996 Olympic Games. She led "There is No Other Way" on this project recorded by CGI Records. Kristie is versatile and has performed as lead soloist & concert classical music performer in college choirs leading serious classical pieces such as “Pie Jesu” by Gershwin and heartwarming gospel songs on the same concert stage. Kristie has also studied with the Nashville Jazz Workshop in Nashville, TN and performs jazz standards in intimate settings such as “The Very Thought of You”. Some of her favorite Jazz pieces were made popular by the legendary singer Ella Fitzgerald. Kristie released her first independent gospel 10-track CD titled "Perfect Peace" under her label in 2003. Currently Kristie is working on an inspirational gospel influenced Sophomore Project produced by Antonio Neal. The “Free” single was released in 2010 as a promotional prelude to her sophomore project and is available for purchase along with two remix bonus tracks on ITUNES. This single release project provides an eclectic mix of inspiring gospel songs that offer freedom, peace & faith to listeners. “Free” is a soothing and compelling piece that compels the listener to be free from chains and baggage from the past with strings instrumentation and beautiful soothing music. “Perfect Peace” is an R & B moderate tempo influenced track that offers hope in troubling times. Faith is an upbeat, fun & uplifting song with an eclectic modern beat that inspires the listener to believe no matter what their circumstances are. As a songwriter, these songs showcase mature lyrics as they were written by Kristie. Currently, Kristie is recording & promoting her new Promotional Singles and performing in various venues in preparation to release a full 10- track sophomore project with national radio & retail distribution. Kristie's Sophomore Project will be released in 2012 by her independent label Kristie Sings Music. She is also collaborating with other artists on a compilation project entitled “Now Playing” with which was released digitally in 2011 by Producer Antonio Neal. Sibley obtained her Master’s Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Kennesaw State University. Kristie has been instrumental in motivating young women & helping adults to discover their destiny. She is world traveled and has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Kristie has traveled throughout the United States to 28 states and has traveled overseas to Germany, Switzerland, Holland, France, Italy, Spain, The Czech Republic and England. She has also toured the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Bahamas. Ms. Sibley loves adventure, meeting new people, tasting exotic foods, reading, singing & creating music. She is compassionate and practices high morals, values and integrity. Remarkably, Kristie is a woman of faith and has a desire to touch lives all over the world. Kristie is available to speak at conferences, seminars, luncheons, banquets, community forums, panels, retreats & special events. She s capable of coaching individuals one on one or in small groups.
