not a pushover. He will swear when he needs to, but will try to control his temper. He can handle his liquor responsibly and keeps himself in shape. Most importantly, he will admit his faults and errors, because that is what real men do. He is comfortable with his sexuality, black or white, Republic or Democrat, Atheist or Evangelical; he just does whatever he thinks makes himself a good person that he can be proud of.

This doesn't mean always letting you get your way, but it does mean he'll be eager to reach a middle ground with you where you're both happy. Whether it's where you spend quality time or who gets the remote, he'll show his love by insisting that we call the shots sometimes.

Sometimes, one of the hardest and most rewarding fitness hurdles to overcome is the mental one — the awareness that your body is your body, with all its unique characteristics and individualities. There’s always something we could want to change about our bodies. But instead of dwelling on those components, celebrating them is a surefire way to gain mental peace and greater self-confidence.

Living inside ourselves means no longer being addicted to stimulation. It means no longer living a life of constant doing, interspersed with periods of distraction. Inwardness brings a fundamental sense of ease and contentment. We are perfectly happy even if there are no entertainments or activities to occupy our attention. We can rest peacefully inside ourselves, occupying our own mental space and observing our own thoughts and feelings.

Today we remember who we have lost in the past and those who can now live healthy lives with HIV.

WISDOM
We must create a healthy community effort to end HIV/AIDS with the same conviction and sustained efforts that we give to COVID, Heart Disease, Asthma, Cancer, and other illnesses. Far too many Same Gender loving Men globally are living in trauma and stigma therefore causing a disconnect with the health system and a primary care provider.

The lack of compassion, support and safe space from the Black community must stop.

Community, parents and extending family must provide a safe space for all especially Black Gay/ Q***r or Same Gender loving men.

Conscious appreciation arises naturally from giving our full attention to our surroundings and our experience. It’s the sense of natural appreciation we might feel when we feel relaxed and our minds are fairly quiet, and we perceive the world around us freshly and directly.

CAUSALITIES OF LOVE LOST!

I want you to know that it is not always easy to love me. That sometimes my chest is a field full of landmines, and where I was last night, I can’t guarantee tomorrow. It’s not about disrespect but more about my personal journey. There is no manual, there is no road map, no help line you can call; my body does not come with instructions, and sometimes even I don’t know what to do with it. This cannot be easy. But still, you touch me anyway.

It's time we change the way we approach our pursuit of committed
connections. Rather than partaking in the superficial race, we need to evolve our perception of dating and become conscious daters. [CONSCIOUS] dating is a method that honors and respects US as individuals and offers an emotionally healthy way to find love. This process is about attracting a partner who are in alignment with our most authentic self. It's not about creating superficial illusions or wearing a mask.
WISDOM
Put down the mask, to work on ourselves, and to understand the direct correlation between the love we have for ourselves and the love we receive from others.

Maybe it’s time to begin taking care of your self? It’s far better to change the way you live, beginning now, instead of waiting for things to get out of your control. Create an inventory of your health including diet, exercise, genetics, and stress level. Begin slowly, one change at a time, eventually incorporating others.

Broaden your scope. Focus on the solution, not the problem. Step back from today’s challenge, look at the big picture, and brainstorm a wide range of options instead of over-focusing on the difficulty. Every time you’re feeling pessimistic or hopeless, put on your wide-angle lens, pull up the big picture, and see the situation in a broad context instead of from the narrow lens that clouds out possibilities.

I decided to go naked, leaving more space for the unexpected instead of focusing on a goal. When I fear emptiness, I redirect my thoughts to the idea that the future holds good things that I haven’t yet imagined. I am so grateful for my tiny mental bandwidth that I am determined not to waste it!
