Thank You Father for 30 incredible years around the sun!

My late 20s has really made me realize the true meaning of life and what it is that I want out of it. Becoming a mother has also helped, healed and blessed me in ways I could never have imagined. It taught me the importance of honoring my own needs, nurturing myself and what/who should and shouldn’t be a priority. I feel like God healed me, broke me down, built me back up and more over the last few years. I remember times when I almost let my trauma consume me and take me out, figuretively and quite literally. I’m just so thankful that I’m still here, that I persevered, and that I kept pushing forward 🥹🙏🏽

I’ve lived so many different lives in 30 years that it’s crazy 😭
My inner child has been smiling from ear to ear lately and if anything, I’m just so fu***ng proud of myself for everything I’ve accomplished this far. 30 really feels transformative. The energy is intense and insane to say the least. I’m blessed to be able to age gracefully and I’m thankful for where I’m at in life because years ago I was praying for the things I have now. I’ve been in survival mode my entire life, it’s finally time to truly live.

Let me take a moment to introduce myself, especially to my newer followers.

My name is Jade, and while many recognize me as the “makeup girl,” I am also a self-taught graphic & web designer based in Atlanta, Georgia, with six years of experience. I unexpectedly started another entrepreneurial journey in 2020 when I was let go from my marketing position for standing on business when it comes to my princples!

During the pandemic, as several people launched their businesses, I found myself quite busy with client work, initially viewing it as a temporary endeavor until I secured my “big girl job,” which I did in 2021 by transitioning into the tech industry. After months of providing graphic design services, I began to notice a common challenge faced by many start-up Black businesses: a lack of direction on where and how to start. I felt compelled to offer more than just graphic support and aimed to serve as a comprehensive resource for my clients.

However, as a new mother balancing work and personal commitments, I had to temporarily close my books. Tbh, I never officially closed because I often assisted my regular clients whenever they reached out because I genuinely enjoy helping others as well as my work. I take great pleasure in connecting resources and supporting Black businesses especially since I did not have a rule book or roadmap to navigate my own path. Although I gained valuable insights in the tech industry, I felt called back to my true passion: helping my community!

That said, I’m excited to share that we are back with an enhanced vision and a commitment to stay! now rebranded, serves as a hub for Black entrepreneurs seeking assistance in enhancing and elevating their brands.
