Let’s celebrate black history month Carnival Cruise Line team members spotlight series

Team Member Spotlight✨
Next to shine in our series is the "Queen of the Sea" Katherine Grant aka DJ Saxy. She loves to get the party started as much as she loves her heritage. She shared with us how proud she is of her culture:

"The thing I love about my heritage is how we are such strong people that have worked to overcome so many things, past and present. I am proud to be a part of a culture that is known to make things exciting and easygoing for others; whether it be music, inventions, education, or sports. There is hardly any field on earth where we don't make a difference. I am proud of my heritage and proud to be able to spread love, education, and positive vibes to everyone I meet. Oh, and of course, let’s not forget about that good ol' Soul Food!"

Today, DJ Saxy performs on different stages all over the world and she has her own family to thank for the motivation and inspiration. They always encouraged her and cheered her on!
