MY SASSY MIL FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT BEFORE I DID AND REVEALED IT TO THE FAMILY – I MADE SURE SHE FACED THE CONSEQUENCES.

Last Sunday, we arrived at my in-laws' for dinner, only to be greeted with applause, confetti, and congratulations.

My MIL ran up to me, grinning. "Congratulations on your first baby!"

I froze.

Me: "What does this mean?"
Her: "A letter from the doctor's office—a confirmation of your pregnancy!"

She had opened my mail. AGAIN.

We used to live with her briefly, so some of our mail still gets sent there, but this time, she crossed the line. SHE told me I was pregnant before I even knew. And worse, she had told the entire family.

I was FURIOUS. I knew I had to finally teach her a lesson, and my husband stood by me 100% giving me the green light. So yesterday, she had a hysterical fit after I sent her a visitor. ⬇️ See less

"Lady! You can't do that here!" Keith said, widening his eyes in shock.

"Yes, I can. I'm feeding my baby," she responded, unfazed.

Keith looked at the other passengers, but many looked down or away. So, none of them wanted to get into this fight. But he saw a few moving around, trying to escape the woman. He was not the only uncomfortable person on the ride. The light turned green, so he had to keep driving, shaking his head the entire time.

"I can't believe the gall of some people. There's no decency anywhere these days. Kids think they're entitled to the whole world and just take out their bosom in front of complete strangers," he started mumbling, but the words got louder and louder.

He saw the woman adjusting her cover through the rearview mirror to hide more of herself, but that wasn't enough.

Keith chuckled but composed himself quickly. "Like I said, no decency. Where's her husband? Why didn't anyone in her life tell her to have some self-respect? It's disgusting," he added and chuckled.

Keith kept mocking her until she was done breastfeeding and stood to leave a few stops later. He watched her go with a self-satisfied smirk, silently wishing he'd never have to deal with such behavior again.

But when the bus doors opened, Keith saw a man waiting for her. He had assumed she was a single mom, but seeing her husband shocked him. Then the man looked up, and Keith's face went pale as he recognized him immediately.👇

WE CUT OUR CAKE AT THE GENDER REVEAL PARTY, AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE BLACK — I TURNED MY HEAD AND SAW MY MIL CRYING.

This was our first and long-awaited child, so we decided to throw a big gender reveal party, inviting the whole family! We entrusted the ultrasound results to my MIL and asked her to give them to the bakery.

On the big day, my mom helped with the decorations and hors d'oeuvres, and soon the gorgeous white cake arrived. The excitement was in the air as everyone counted down with us.

Amid applause, Jerry and I sliced into the cake. But as we pulled out the first slice, the room fell silent — the inside of the cake was completely BLACK.

We were confused, and as I looked around, I noticed my MIL. HOW COULD I HAVE MISSED IT? She was dressed in black and wiping away tears. ⬇️

JOKE OF THE DAY: A man was swiping through a dating app when he matched with someone who didn't have a profile picture. Desperate for a change, he decided to take a chance and meet her.

He wasn't expecting much, maybe someone a little rough around the edges, but when he arrived, he was floored. She was stunning: 5'2", baby blue eyes, strawberry blonde hair, and all the right curves.
Impressed, he asked what she did for a living. "I teach Sunday school," she said.

He'd never dated a Christian girl before, so he was intrigued. On the drive to dinner, he lit a cigarette and asked if she cared for one.

"Oh, heavens no!" she replied, "What would I tell my Sunday school children?"

Fair enough, the man thought. Some people smoke, some don't.

At the restaurant, he ordered a steak and requested the second-most expensive bottle of wine on the menu. When the wine arrived, she declined a glass.

"You don't drink?" the man asked, surprised.

She shook her head. "Oh, heavens no! What would I tell my Sunday school children?"

The dinner and conversation were amazing, but the man couldn't quite figure her out. On the drive home, he passed a cheap motel and figured, why not take a chance?

"Want to get a room and fool around?" the man asked nervously.

She winked and said, "I thought you'd never ask!"

Surprised, the man laughed and teased, "Really? What are you going to tell your Sunday school children about this?"

I INVITED A FORTUNE TELLER TO MY BRIDAL PARTY TO PRANK MY MIL, BUT EVERYTHING WENT OFF THE RAILS AFTER SHE POINTED TO MY MIL'S BAG.

I hired a fortune teller for my bridal party to prank my future MIL. She made it clear she didn't think I was good enough for her son, constantly criticizing my background, career, and appearance. She undermined every wedding decision, from the dress to the cake, always finding something negative to say.

MIL (sneering): "I can't believe you're wearing that dress. It looks so cheap. Jacob deserves better than this."

I tolerated it for Jacob's sake, but it was exhausting.

During the party, the fortune teller was supposed to reveal harmless facts to catch her off guard. But when she pointed with her finger to MIL, everything shifted.

The room went dead silent. I glanced at the fortune teller, confused, because this WASN'T part of our script. My MIL was freaked out.

I HEARD A YOUNG WOMAN ON THE STREET SINGING THE SAME SONG MY DAUGHTER USED TO SING BEFORE SHE WENT MISSING 17 YEARS AGO, SO I WENT CLOSER.

I was walking home from work when I suddenly heard THAT song.

I stumbled in surprise — a young woman was singing.

Hearing those words, memories surged through my mind like a storm.

How does that girl know this song? It's not one you hear often. I slowly turned toward her.

My heart was racing. With legs that felt like they could barely move, I approached her and locked my gaze on her, while she, unaware of my presence, sang the song with her eyes closed and a smile on her face.

She had dark hair and delicate features.

Oh goodness, my daughter, Lily, used to smile just like that, and the dimple in her cheek was just like my wife Cynthia's. I thought that my daughter would probably look the same. She had disappeared 17 years ago at the age of five, but the pain of losing her never went away.

Then it hit me like a bolt of electricity. WHAT IF THIS IS MY DAUGHTER? I felt sweat trickling down my entire body. I shouldn't do anything I might regret later, I thought. Of course, the girl looks similar to Lily, but she might not be her, so don't start hoping in vain, I told myself.

The girl finished the song and thanked her small audience. Then her eyes met mine.⬇️
