Tenor singer Bubby Bates departing The Dixie Echoes, the group now accepting demos

We’re sorry to announce that our tenor singer, Buddy Bates, will be stepping down from his position with the Dixie Echoes. We have certainly enjoyed having Buddy as a member and wish him and his lovely wife, Lisa, all the best.

Linda Henderson George, soloist and a former member of Carrollton-based Shadrix Trio, has passed away

Today we lost our dearest friend, a member of our extended family, a sister, a godmother to our children, a ministry partner, a strong prayer warrior. Linda Henderson George was a true woman of God, one that would stop in an instant and pray for your circumstance and could make up the lyrics of a verse if she forgot the words (and it would always make sense and be biblical). She dressed like the superstar she was and had the best style of anyone we know. Oh how we will miss her in our daily lives! Please pray for Barry George and her dear sister Lydia Henderson Ferguson and all the family.

Buck White of The Whites has passed away at the age of 94

"The Lord answered our prayers and took our daddy, Buck White, home peacefully this morning at 8:00 a.m. We are so thankful for his 94 years on this earth. He was a great dad who taught us by example to put Jesus first always. His great loves were the Lord, our mother, his family, and music. Most people will remember him not only for being a great musician and entertainer, but also for being fun-loving and full of mischief. He lived a full life and finished well." --his daughters, Sharon, Cheryl, Rosie and Melissa
