So, Jake and I had a pretty solid marriage for the first few years—until he started hanging out with this guy from work, Steve. Steve was this loudmouth from Jake's work, with no girlfriend, no wife, but he somehow knew everything about marriage. And Jake? He started listening. Suddenly, he's coming home with all these "tips" Steve gave him.

13 YEARS AGO WAS THE LAST TIME I SAW MY DAUGHTER — RECENTLY I GOT A LETTER FROM MY GRANDSON I NEVER KNEW ABOUT.

13 years ago, my wife left me for my boss. She took my daughter with her — the daughter I loved more than anything. You know how it goes: kids usually stay with their moms. My stepdaughter never liked me, and she hadn't spoken to me in months — maybe even a year. Then, out of nowhere, she calls, sounding all upbeat, asking to meet at a fancy restaurant.
