“It hasn’t always been a smooth road. From an early age, I chose to stand on my own, and that choice came with its challenges. Maintaining stability while chasing dreams often meant being overworked, especially without a partnership or relationship in the early stages of my career to help me balance it all in a healthy way. Many nights left me burnt out, and I found myself surrounded by people I had given my last to, who were still complaining about wanting more.

As an independent creator, self-funded and without a grant to this day, I’ve had to navigate a lot. I plan to apply for some in the future, but for now, I’ve dealt with the ups and downs of working with people in the transition world. I often operated with a team of literally no one, so I’m grateful for those who stepped up to help during various seasons of these ideas and processes.

I truly appreciate the genuine actors who stood by my side, regardless of the changes that came our way. I’m also thankful to the organizations that sponsored assistance, enabling me to spread the funding to completion. For years, I drove trucks to support both my projects and my livelihood, which consumed a lot of my time. Maintaining such large projects while life throws its curveballs is no joke.”

Eden’s Garden Series Float: A Celebration of Diversity

We have 50 tickets remaining on our Eventbrite page.

This platform is essential for organizing our group and guiding attendees to connect with their respective leaders during our float. The tickets are free—this is simply a tool for organization. As you know, we will have our own float, and the parade only allows a limited number of marchers.

Seven King Studios - 2025 Casting Calls 🎥

1. Furious 5: The Rise of the Crew (Pilot Film)
✔️A biopic focusing on Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. 🎶

2. Rome & Rayne (Romance & Drama)

Live auditions will be held in New York City from December 18 to 20, with the official casting call available on Backstage.com in July.

Filming for both projects is set to begin in 2026, with all roles compensated except for extras.

I frequently receive inquiries about how to begin projects and develop visuals. This is your opportunity to ask questions and engage in a hands-on workshop experience. 💡

This program is particularly beneficial for writers, those interested in launching a series, or anyone with a creative idea. The workshop has space available for 30 participants.

The Visible Voices Festival & Eden’s Garden Summit 2025, happening from June 26 to June 29, 2025, in New York City, will open vending opportunities for vendors at a cost of $100 for two days—Friday and Saturday.

These days are expected to be festive, with a guest count estimated at 200-300.

If you have merchandise or any entrepreneurial offerings that can benefit from this crowd, please contact me or email your vending interest.

For sponsors, the window is open for great visibility during this weekend. We understand that the nature of the upcoming presidency can affect funding. To those who continue to support projects and missions like this, thank you. Sponsors, there is a packet available for you to review for consideration.

We will also have a placement in the parade next year, on June 29, 2025, with our own float. There is a cost for this, but it’s worth it.

Families continue to donate to our GoFundMe. All proceeds will provide access to the float and parade, which will also feature a DJ set by Aiko Finesse.

Volunteers are welcome to join us; some positions will be paid, and many will have incentives.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
Type: Contractual (not permanent)
Location: Southeast or Northeast region

Responsibilities include assisting with casting calls, communication, and miscellaneous support during events. Candidates should have experience in entertainment, be proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, and possess a people-oriented personality. Must be professional, dependable, and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
