A Garden of Love: Eden's Garden of Love: Speed Dating in ATL Itinerary

We are 53 days away from our first speed dating event with Eden’s Garden Weekend, hosted in Atlanta, GA, at Best Friends Lounge in College Park.

The event will take place from 5 PM to 11 PM and will serve as a fundraiser, with proceeds going to SKS for future productions and activities.

Here is the program for the evening: we will also have a “I Got a Love Jones” spoken word segment. If you’re an artist who would like to participate, you’re welcome to submit your interest to me personally or to [email protected]. A form will be sent for you to submit the name of your spoken word piece and any additional information needed.

We're looking to have some fun! Please promote this event, save the date, and feel free to ask any questions. This will be a high-energy event featuring 90s R&B, neo-soul, and good vibes—non-judgmental and engaging.

As part of Eden’s Garden Weekend, we are celebrating the milestone of successfully producing the Eden’s Garden project.

We will gather for a free screening event at GCM, 3800 Wendell Drive, Atlanta, GA 30336, on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 5 PM to 9 PM (movie starts at 6 PM).

We will celebrate with a unity after-party at Best Friends Lounge.

Eden's Garden Weekend will be held in Atlanta, GA this year. October 25-27TH 🍑🌆

We will provide another opportunity by hosting an intimate screening for those who haven't seen it yet. We will also have an after-party at Best Friends Lounge following the screening.

This will be followed by the Garden of Love Day, which will offer speed dating opportunities, games, spoken word, and motivational speaking on self-love and finding healthy relationships.

The last day of Eden's Garden Weekend will be a sports day of visibility at Grant Park, concluding the weekend with a skate party at Cascade, the iconic skating rink seen in the movie ATL.

1. Intimate Screening: There will be a special screening of Eden's Garden for those who haven't seen it yet. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy the film in a unique and immersive setting.

2. After Party: After the screening, there will be an after-party at Best Friends Lounge. Attendees can enjoy music, drinks, and socializing with other participants of the event.

3. Garden of Love Day: This day will be dedicated to promoting self-love and healthy relationships. There will be speed dating opportunities, games, spoken word performances, and motivational speaking sessions focused on finding and nurturing love.

5. Skate Party at Cascade: The weekend will conclude with a skate party at Cascade, a famous skating rink featured in the movie ATL. Attendees can put on their skates and enjoy a fun-filled evening of music, dancing, and skating.

Here are the details for each day's events:

25: Speed Dating Event - Join us for the Garden of Love Event, which includes motivational speaking, games, music, and speed dating. This event is open to everyone.

26: Screening of Eden's Garden Pilots (The Jungle Has No Face) - Be the first to see the pilots of our new series, The Jungle Has No Face, at this exclusive screening.

27: Basketball Game for Trans Visibility in Sports - Support the cause of trans visibility in sports by attending our basketball game. After the game, join us for a skate party at Cascade.

Each lead actor will be a captain of a team, and each team can have 7 players. We are currently recruiting for Barrie's Team (captain: Rico), Rell's Team (captain: Pernell), and Seven's Team. Manny's team (captain: Leroy) is already secured.
