2024 has been a rough year financially so I haven’t really been in a festive mood. However, I finally got my tree decorated (it’s been up since Black Friday lol). While rather traditional and not as fancy as some, I still think it’s beautiful❤️

I recently posted that I just wasn’t feeling it this year. Fighting cancer for 5 years. Last weekend came down with 2 bugs that laid me low. Also family relationships that aren’t the best. Meds kicked in & began to feel a tiny bit better. So-got out a small artificial tree from the attic (somewhat worse for wear) & put on a string of lights & a few ornaments. Used a scrap of fabric instead of a skirt. Photo below.

It was heartbreaking and therapeutic at the same time putting up my daughters christmas trees and decor. She passed away in June and I felt her the entire time I was decorating. Bless you all and have a very Merry Christmas.

Be careful buying online! I ordered a JOY sign to go with my Christmas decorations and they sent me this instead. What am I supposed to do with a YOL sign!?

*took too more pictures last night lol 🤣 now I'm just curious to see what it turns out to be lol 🤣***I was given this begonia a little over a month ago i chopped it down and removed it from the soil it was in and their was a lot of huge caterpillar looking bugs in the soil I threw it out washed the roots and rinsed off all the old soil and repoted in new soil and down sized and I just noticed this growing out of soil does anyone know what it is... I don't think it's dangerous to the plant itself I'm just very curious

This was part of a hanging plant from the summer.It has been doing just fine indoor right here in this same spot since summer ended. Today I have a whole bunch of yellow leaves. I have a space heater in here, which keeps it in the sixties or seventies and two humidifiers. Any idea what is going on and what I can do? I don't know what this is. I used google lens, it's telling me it's a morning glory, but this never had a bloom.

I just got this beauty yesterday. Is this a true Christmas Cactus? I have several holiday cactus and want a Christmas Cactus so badly! Did I finally pull it off and get the nearly unobtainable? I appreciate all feedback.

WHY DO I KILL EVERYTHING I LOVE??!
Sorry to be dramatic but dang, here's a before and after pic of my orchid :(
After the flowers fell I followed advice and repotted and cut dead roots.
WELLL I guess she liked her dead roots because now she's a mess and probably near dead.
Even her air roots are flattening out.
Can she be saved or is she too far gone ??
I don't even care about the flowers I just love the base plant 😭

Can I see your plant shelves with grow light set ups?

I have a small collection of about 14 plants and would love some ideas!
Most are "bright indirect light" and we already have a grow bulb in the same room as my shelf which is just a 4ft bookshelf.

I have some pothos, philodendron, alocasia, diffenbachia, peace lily, monstera, snake plant, spider plant, and some propagations of succulents.
