How many places do you plan to visit if you have to drive longer than 2 hours? So far I visited 3 places in a day. The drive was long and it seems I drove more in between just to get from point A to B. I wanted to see the sunrise at Cloudland Canyon State Park but didn’t realize that I won’t be able to see it unless I hike to the other side of the canyon 😂There is an observation deck on the other side and I could see it, but getting there would not be an option. It was too late for the sunrise. I spent probably 30 minutes just sitting there and enjoying my peaceful morning at 7am. 📍activities we did in Helen, GA-Mountain Coaster. Cheaper during a week and if you ride more than once.- Cool River Tubing. Take wet shoes, apply sunscreen, and take enough water. We did short trip since the water level was low. It took us 1.5 hours to complete. Dont try to save money and get a pushing stick, it’s only 5$. Don’t connect more than 2 tubings together. It was very annoying when someone didn’t listen and connected 3-4 at once which caused problems for other people. - if you try to save money and don’t want to pay for parking, park at mountain coaster, the downtown is a few steps from there! Parking varies from 10-30$. - there is a Restaurant with German cuisine.
