MY 7-YEAR-OLD DREW A PICTURE OF MY HUSBAND WITH ANOTHER WOMAN – AND WROTE, 'I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOU TO BE MY MOM'

I need to get this out somewhere before I explode.

I’m a mom to my sweet girl, Mia, who’s seven. Last night, after a long day at work, I was cleaning up her crayons and coloring books. That’s when I found it.

It was a drawing—just a cute little sketch at first glance. It showed a family: a man, a woman, and a little girl all holding hands. I smiled at first, thinking, aw, how sweet. But then I looked closer. The man? Definitely Jack, my husband. But the woman? It wasn’t me. She had brown hair and was dressed like a bride. Next to them, Mia had written in her big, bubbly handwriting: “I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOU TO BE MY MOM.”

My stomach dropped. My heart was pounding so hard I thought I might pass out. What in the world was I looking at? Is Jack… cheating? With someone Mia already considered “mom” material?

I couldn’t let it go, so I went to Mia’s room. I asked her gently about the picture. And then it happened. She turned bright red, snatched the drawing out of my hands, and held it against her chest. Then she blurted out: “You weren’t supposed to see that! Daddy said to hide it better!" ⬇️

I'm a journalist writing these super cute stories about rural life, cozy cottages, and my little farm. My boss adores my work. There's just one tiny issue… I've never even been to the countryside in my life.

I've lied so much that I lost touch with reality. I kept going on about my "perfect" country life until my boss said he wanted to visit me for the holidays!!!

The truth would cost me my job. So I panicked, found the nearest village, and rented a little cottage. The owner was this cranky old lady — she clearly thought I wouldn't last a day there. She rented me the place but made me promise to leave it EXACTLY as I'd found it. Sure, I agreed — I had to keep my job.

A few hours in, and there I was — covered in soot, the kitchen trashed, and running around the yard trying to catch chickens!

But that wasn't even the worst part. My boss and his wife didn't show up alone. Oh no. They brought along the LAST people I ever wanted.

I CAUGHT MY EX-MIL STEALING MY SHOWER CABIN AND RIPPING OFF THE WALLPAPER "HER SON HAD GLUED"

After my divorce from Peter, I came home to my apartment and froze. My shower cabin was sitting in the hallway with a big “Peter’s property” sticker on it. My heart sank.

I walked inside and heard ripping sounds. Turning the corner, I saw Lorraine—my ex-MIL—tearing down the wallpaper. She muttered, “This is all my son’s work. He put up the wallpaper, so it’s his to take down. And this shower cabin? We’re not leaving anything behind for you.”

I stood there, in shock, tears welling up. I didn’t have the strength to stop her. Peter and his mother had already drained me emotionally, and now they were taking everything.

But at that moment, I didn't know that fate would punish them instead of me doing it. The next day, a hysterical Lorraine ran to my apartment pale and shaking and started begging: "I'll give you anything. Just SAVE HIM!" ⬇️

MY BEST FRIEND ASKED ME TO WATCH HER KIDS FOR AN HOUR – THE NEXT TIME I SAW HER WAS 7 YEARS LATER

I remember that day like it was yesterday, even though it was 7 years ago. I came home from work, sat on the couch to watch a movie, and suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

It was my best friend, Chris, standing there with her two kids (5 years and 2 months old). She said she had to see a doctor urgently and had no one to watch the kids.

"CAN YOU WATCH THEM FOR AN HOUR? I'LL BE BACK SOON," Chris said.

MY SON BROUGHT HOME A WOMAN MY AGE, SAYING SHE'S NOW THE LADY OF THE HOUSE AND MOVING ME TO THE BASEMENT.

After I was widowed, I dreamed of my son, Ryan, starting a family. For months, he talked about Lydia, the girl he'd fallen for in France. I couldn't wait to meet her.
