A desk for my daughter from scraps.
My goal for the next few projects is to use up all the lumber & products I have in my garage. For this desk I used what was once my daughter’s bed. Her bedroom is getting a refresh and she now wants a bigger bed. The challenge is that now space is limited so we need a small enough desk, vanity and nightstand.
I think I accomplished all of it! My only expense was the recessed outlet for her devices.
Up next, I’m repurposing her old mirror. Going to attempt to use a new tool I’ve had in the garage for 2 yrs! Not going to let it keep intimidating me!

Did I do it??
Yes! I was able to finish this deck in less than 5 days. First day I was lacking the energy, doubting myself and didn’t get much done but after day 2 the deck build was on a roll! My sister, a friend and my kids got in on the action and the deck is done! I am so happy I didn’t let anything get in the way, not even the rain.
My confidence level is through the roof. I feel like I can build anything. 💪🏻 🎉

I told people I could build a deck and they called my bluff. So here I am fighting against imposter syndrome and crushing all doubts because I am building a deck! To make things more interesting I gave myself 5 days to build it. With the help of my family & friends anything is possible.
