MY DAUGHTER’S LANDLORD SET HER UP TO KICK HER OUT OF THE HOUSE AND INCREASE RENT — WE SHOWED HIM HE MADE A MISTAKE.

My daughter, Lily, rented a modest house with a big backyard that was mostly dirt and concrete when she moved in. Despite the uninspiring landscape, Lily, an avid gardener, transformed it into a blooming oasis.

She signed a lease for one year, but after seven months of living there, she called me in tears last week.

HER: "Dad, my landlord...he learned I got a raise at work. He keeps talking about renovations and higher rent ever since."

MY DIL DEMANDED I BABYSIT MY GRANDKIDS ON MY LONG-AWAITED VACATION WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME – I TAUGHT HER A LESSON ABOUT RESPECT.

Finally, after two years of working and apart from babysitting my grandkids three hours a day and many backaches and joint issues, I took my vacation!

I bought tickets to the Bahamas and left. For two days, I had massages, long beach walks, and enjoyed the sunsets!

But suddenly, I got a message from my DIL,

"George is on his business trip, my parents have house repairs, and I'm going on my retreat. And you know what? It's in the Bahamas!! Isn't it amazing? We're already boarding, I need you to watch the kiddos!"

So, her parents had repairs, and I had a vacation, but I had to babysit the kids? I was MAD AS HELL and wasn't ready to give up so easily.
