I don’t know what you may be facing, life throws curveballs and attempts to knock us out of balance. But I want to encourage you today, Give it to God.

Giving our worries, stressors and weights to him lightens the load. Giving it to him allows God to take the lead. He is a lamp in the darkness. Allow him to guide your way.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve had to continually remind myself: things are not happening to me, they are happening for me.

The key distinction is that God isn’t attempting to harm me; rather, He is removing and adding elements for my benefit. He aims to clear the paths and open doors that lead to a life of abundance, but I must leave the past behind.

Romans 8:18 tells us “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”What we experience now serves a purpose, and there is a brighter tomorrow ahead. Sunshine and clear skies follow a storm, just as a flower blooms after a seed is sown. A wonderful purpose awaits, keep moving and pressing forward.

Dear God, I trust you.

Thank you, God, for my health. I appreciate the provisions you have placed before me and the work you are doing behind the scenes. Thank you for the opportunities you provide. I am grateful for your forgiveness and grace. Though my path may seem uncertain, I trust that you have prepared my steps and accompany me through it all. Even when the situation around me is unclear, I recognize that the old must give way to the new. As I strive to walk in your will, Lord, please protect and shield me. In your name I pray amen.

Life often presents us with a series of unpredictable events that can leave us feeling disoriented and overwhelmed. These past few weeks have been particularly confusing for me—marked by both significant lows and exhilarating highs. In the midst of this chaos, I found myself turning to prayer, seeking understanding and guidance. I asked God, “How does this make sense?”

During my moments of doubt, I was reminded of a powerful scripture, Romans 8:28: _“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”_ This verse serves as a reassuring reminder that even when life feels incomprehensible, there is a greater plan at work. Often, when God is intertwined in our struggles, the reasons behind our challenges may not be immediately apparent to us.

When we face heartbreak, whether it’s from a failed relationship or a lost friendship, our instinct is to attempt understanding it through our limited perspective. Similarly, losing a job or encountering unexpected life challenges prompts us to search for answers. However, it’s important to remember that God’s vision extends far beyond our own. While we can see only to the corner, God sees around it.

We must learn to continue praising and trusting Him, even when circumstances are baffling. Embracing this trust means believing that there is purpose in our trials and that they are working together for our greater good.

Today, I encourage you to take life one day at a time, regardless of what you’re facing. Pray for the clarity to hear God’s voice above the clamor of your own thoughts. Remember, you are not alone—God is with you, standing by your side through every storm. Do not give up or lose hope; take comfort in the knowledge that He is near, guiding you through life’s challenges with unwavering love and purpose.

Recently, during prayer, Romans 11:29 resonated with me: “For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.”

There are moments in life that makes no sense through a worldly perspective, yet to God, they hold perfect clarity. When we reflect on past experiences that didn’t unfold as we had envisioned, we often find ourselves questioning, “Why did this happen?” This is where the Holy Spirit offers guidance. I was reminded that whatever is truly destined for me, as laid out by my Father, will surely come to pass. I won’t need to compromise my values, lower my standards, or pretend to be someone I’m not. Likewise, what isn’t meant for you will naturally drift out of your life.

So, I urge you to stop resisting discomfort. Let go of the things that God is asking you to release. He is committed to protecting, providing for, and rewarding you with something far greater. All it requires is your surrender and trust in Him.

If there’s one thing I’m certain of in this world, it’s that God loves us and will guide us on our path. The responsibility lies with us to stay attentive and keep our focus on Him.

Not long ago, I had a dream. In this dream, I was driving along a stunning road flanked by the lushest grass and trees I’ve ever encountered. As I drove, I kept glancing at my GPS screen for my exit. I reassured myself that my exit was approaching. Yet, as I continued forward, I realized I had missed it. I drove further down the road, then turned back, still fixated on my screen and telling myself my exit was coming. I looked ahead again and missed my exit ONCE MORE! This repeated several times until I finally pulled over and said to myself, “Focus, focus, focus—your exit is right there; just concentrate!” I turned around once more and, predictably, missed my exit again.

From this dream, I learned that God has an exit planned for me, but I wasn’t directing my attention towards Him. Instead, I was distracted by trivial matters like social matters, finances, and possessions—all of which aren’t Him. From this moment on, I’ve committed to never losing sight of Him again. I will place my faith in every aspect of my life in Him. Just as Peter stepped out onto the water to reach Jesus in Matthew 14:22-33, No longer will I look away or let anything break my gaze; my eyes are set firmly on Him.

In this season… The word is Focus.
