I'll leave it at this, pandering and/or shucking and jiving really turns ME 👈🏾 off. Dick Gregory said there was a time when Black folks couldn't stand flat-footed in front of white folk, they had to be putting on a show to be heard. I would have rather seen Meg stand at the podium and address women's issues because I believe she is intelligent to do that, but maybe I was more turned off because I'm already not a fan of her work. Yea I know, lil Kim in the 90's blah blah blah, but Kim could actually rap and I liked her. That doesn't mean she should perform "Big Mama Thang" at a political rally though ✌🏾
