Since then it has gone on to broadcast nearly 400 programs and is now heard throughout the entire GPB radio network bringing the best in modern eclectic pop to its listeners across the state of Georgia and into several othe

r markets in bordering states. The format of the show presents an ongoing assortment of fresh new music, insightful interviews, and live in-studio performances. In 2010, Just Off The Radar received the Georgia Association of Broadcaster’s Gabby Award for Best Station Produced Non-News Radio Program.

We discuss the stress of not letting Kim Deal Music & Kelley Deal of The Breeders know that Frank Black was also appearing on the record, the unknown magic and chance in picking subjects for documentaries, the experience of having Jonathan Richman singing only to you, and Yoko Ono being asked to be slapped on the back while recording her tracks.
