We are so sorry to learn that our dear friend and colleague Mars Fariss has unexpectedly passed. Soft-spoken with a heart of gold, Mars helped our audio production students through our intensive program with patience and commitment. He also helped us write our inaugural live sound curriculum.

It’s no surprise to us that tributes are pouring in from all over the industry - from venues and artists and bandmates and touring companies alike. Mars had that way of quietly bonding with us all - even in the midst of the chaos that is the music industry.

We love you Mars. Prayers, peace, and love to Amy, your family, and all your friends during this difficult time.

By the end of the semester, our Spring 2024 class will have recorded 18 different bands and artists! In addition to the more common rock and pop genres, they’ve also recorded music ranging from ambient to jazz to hip hop.

Students from GA and SC joined us to learn about signal flow, patching, and even got to experience what it's like on the other side of the glass! We still have spaces available in our Introductory Level High School Sessions on March 4 and April 1 and our Level 2 Studio Recording, Ableton Live, and Home Studio High School Sessions.
