The City of Athens proudly recognizes the men and women of the Athens Police Department who serve our community every day with professionalism, courage, and integrity.

Their work often happens quietly and under difficult circumstances, but it makes a real difference in the lives of our residents. We are grateful for their commitment to public safety and the strong relationships they build across our community.

Athens is a safer, stronger place to call home because of their service.

Hi everyone! Just a friendly reminder to please have your market swine entry forms fully completed before arriving at validation.

📅 Validation Date: January 10, 2026
📍Location: Henderson County Fairgrounds
⏰ Time: 7:00–10:00 AM

Please make sure the following information is filled out on each form:
✔️ Student’s first and last name
✔️ Club/Chapter
✔️ Phone number
✔️ Breed of pig is circled
✔️ Ear notches completed on the diagram
✔️ One form per animal

Having everything completed ahead of time will help validation run much quicker and smoother for everyone. Link to print form off is below
