JBK Music Productions, formed by Janis Beth Capelle and Ken Schofield, aims to serve and provide both the artistic and scientific approaches to realizations of musical expression. Jan is a music educator and performer with a Master's Degree in Piano Performance from San Francisco State University and recipient of a full doctoral fellowship in voice performance and conducting at University of Ariz
ona at Tucson. Her 40 year musical career encompasses performance as conductor of choruses, orchestras and bands; classical and popular vocal soloist; pianist; classical and opera coach accompanist and voice and piano teacher. Her 40 year music career continues serving her community, church, local vocal groups, educational organizations and private music students as well as communities both nationally and internationally. Ken has been a gigging musician along with operating a audio consulting/sound reinforcement business serving religious, academic and touring music performers. Dr. Byron McGilvray introduced the future co-owners in 2013. After 4 years of working together in 2017 it was time to combined our knowledge and abilities as JBK Music Productions LLC.
