Most frequently asked question...can Christians celebrate Kwanzaa?

Why of course! The intention of Kwanzaa was to center African Americans on the shared cultural principals which have been at the cornerstone of progressive African communities of past. Kwanzaa gives African Americans a time to commune, reflect, plan, and build - irrespective of religious beliefs and practices.

Therefore, Kwanzaa should not be viewed as a pagan holiday, nor a black Christmas alternative, but rather simply an African American Cultural Celebration.

The challenges that threaten our present and future progress, don't care how we pray or where we worship. We must celebrate our diversity, and stop letting minor differences cloud our vision.

All Black lives matter, and strong unified communities are key!
