THE EPISODE IS BACK UP!!

You might have noticed our last episode of JOKERJOKERtv (Episode 216) was missing from our Youtube Channel over the weekend… It was all because of copyright issues from youtube. We always ONLY ever feature videos submitted to us by the creators but unfortunately YT has an automated system that causes us tons of issues all the time, lol… This is one of the things we hope to fix eventually as we continue to develop a better infrastructure for JOKERJOKERtv!

Anyways you can now go enjoy the episode! We were doing the best we could to broadcast from Ciné Athens for Athens Film Festival… but there was some glitchiness due to connectivity issues. We even had Mayor Kelly Girtz make a appearance there at the end of the episode lol!

🤬WHERE IS MY JOKERJOKERtv!?!🤬

Well if you didn't hear about it already, the JOKERJOKERtv channel was ☠️SHUT DOWN☠️ for 7 days following our JOKERJOKERtv @ Athfest 2024 broadcast! Somehow during the 4 day livestream we got a STRIKE for community guidelines violations. So we are sorry to say that we will not be broadcasting our regular episode tonight as scheduled. We are prerecording the episode and it will be posted as soon as possible!

We want to THANK EVERYONE who joined us this past weekend! The "JOKERJOKERtv @ Athfest 2024" broadcast was a testament to the power of community support and volunteerism. Operating with sub-par equipment and no budget, the volunteer crew’s ingenuity and commitment shone through, making the event a success. Throughout the weekend, volunteers and artists alike expressed gratitude and excitement for the platform JOKERJOKERtv provides, emphasizing its role in fostering connections and inspiration within the Athens community.

In light of the YouTube strike, JOKERJOKERtv is accelerating plans to develop its own streaming platform, complete with an on-premises server to ensure uninterrupted broadcasts. However, achieving this vision requires substantial funding for server infrastructure and equipment upgrades.
