June is coming to a close, and my partner-in-crime and I celebrated our first decade of wedded bliss. Just like a marriage, a DJ setup evolves over time, distilled to its essence and brand. We are moving ever closer to our vow of exceptional customer service and attention to detail, with plans to offer photo booth services starting Fall 2024. In Kansas, April storms brought May flowers quite early. Dusty Roads Entertainment is headed into a dance-packed May month, kicking off with a wedding this coming Saturday! Summer 2024 dates still available at our old pricing; we are revamping our pricing packages and structure beginning September 2024. One special feature to note is we will be offering a photo booth and backdrop in our premium Ad Astra Per Aspera Package!

City of Leavenworth looking for food truck vendors!

The City of Leavenworth will begin a food truck pilot program on May 1 to increase activity and food options in the downtown. Local businesses within the downtown zoning district can apply for a permit to reserve adjacent on-street parking spaces for a food truck. Permits will be available on the City Clerk’s website and can be requested for a single day or recurring days. The program will run for six months from May 1 to October 31. Permits will be reviewed and approved on a first come, first serve basis, with a total of seven permits available. Application available May 1 by contacting the Leavenworth City Clerk's office, 913-682-9201.
