In celebration of #WomensHistoryMonth, the community gathered at The Collective in Snowmass Base Village for the "Women Who Lead" panel, featuring some of the valley’s top women in leadership.
The panelists included: Mawa McQueen, owner of Mawita, Mawa's Kitchen, and The Crepe Shack; Alya Howe, founder of Writ Large and Umbrella Performing Arts, and Allison Pattillo, the publisher of The Aspen Times. The panel was hosted by Courtney Sanders, founder of the Bipolar Divine.
It's Election Day! Show up today and make your voice heard.
Here's what you need to know:
1.) Aspen residents are voting to elect two candidates to occupy City Council seat and one candidate for mayor.
2.) Voters can register to vote up until Election Day if they meet the requirements of being at least 18-years-old and a resident of the city for at least 22 days.
3.) In-person voting is available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day at City Hall.
4.) The deadline to return mail ballots via drop box or the Postal Service was Monday, but voters can cast their ballot at City Hall on Tuesday.
