DRONES? UNIDENTIFIED LIGHTS IN THE SKY IN BUNCOMBE COUNTY - For the past two weeks SKYline has been receiving video, pictures, and eye witness testimony of strange lights in the sky over Buncombe County.
Land surveyors, fire departments, and journalists have been using drones in Buncombe County regularly to assess the damage from Hurricane Helene. Drone operators SKYline spoke with say none have been flying at night because it is hard to see the damage from the storm in the dark.
So why are an abundance of drones, or unidentified flying objects, been seen throught the Eastern part of the United States?
Shelby Wilkie and her family witnessed a strange light in the sky tonight, 12-18-24. Shelby Wilkie said, "I’m in hoopers creek on Bear Wallow. The video is (taken at) 10:25pm. I saw the first light about 20 minutes before."
Wilkie said, "It looked super high at first and then got closer to the house. That’s when you hear my daughter kind of get scared. I’ll have to ask my husband how high he thinks, (the object was)."
A credible source, that wants to remain anonymous, said she saw a strange light in the sky yesterday, 12-17-24, in Black Mountain. Source said, "Video was taken below the watershed in Black Mtn." Source said, "We sent it to the Black Mtn Police Department. It was dark."
A picture of an object in the sky was taken on 12-17-24 at approximately 7:30pm. The credible source said it was blue with spirals. The source took the picture in the Averys Creek area.
Phillip Emory shot some video of three objects in the sky on 12-13-24 in Weaverville NC.
To date, SKYline has received over 40 messages regarding strange lights in the sky.

Sources tell SKYline the equipment and lodging trailers, that were never used, were sent to Massachusetts, Georgia, and Florida.
SKYline has reached out to Congressman Chuck Edward's Office for comment. He has not replied as of this report time.
