Can you believe that a year has passed since our dear friend, Larry Reid, left his earthly home and joined the angel band? In some ways, it still feels surreal and unimaginable. Not a day goes by that his name is not mentioned at the stations or in the community. While the "voice of Randolph County" may be silent now, the everlasting legacy of Larry remains strong and continues to shine on the county and beyond. WKXR and WZOO are so grateful for our listeners as they continue to support us. Larry had big plans for the stations and we are moving forward with them all the while knowing that his spirit will be with us as we grow with Randolph!

Dwight Ayers was a great friend to and advocate of WKXR. For decades, he provided encouragement to the community of Randolph County (and beyond) with his broadcasts of “Happy Thoughts” and “The Golden Age Hour”. We will miss his voice on sir and frequent visits to the station with his always joyful demeanor. Thank you for your constant support. May you rest in peace, dear friend…. ❤️❤️
