On another sad note: one of my dear pals and mentor in this business died recently. Ronnie Yeskel: you were a dear friend, a great mom, and taught me everything I learned about how to be a kind, compassionate, resourceful and smart casting director and I LOVED assisting you on 6 feature films. You were so loved by us regular folks and hundreds of film and TV stars. We all miss you pal. RIP. (Pls read the obit in ) 😢

LA filming updates in light of the tragic fires:

Because of costs, few movies are shot locally, leaving the industry in a surreal spot: reeling from personal loss with much of the business untouched.

It’s very difficult to post a new locations post today. My sister and brother-in-law too are victims of the fires in Altadena, they lost their home of 20+ years raising their daughter there, and losing all of their belongings. So off topic today, all my heartfelt love ❤️‍🩹 and support to all of you here who have been impacted in LA (and my former home, too). Stay strong, stay safe.
