Mark Robinson and Trevor Kampmann are Uncomfortable Police. They have been collaborating for years. First as Fang Wizard (2011) and then Party Milk in 2023. While those LPs are primarily instrumental, this new 15-song Michelin Star Hardcore album sees them both getting in front of the microphone as lead and background singers. Mark started and starred in the bands UNREST (who just released the 30th Anniversary edition of their Perfect Teeth album with 4AD), AIR MIAMI, FLIN FLON, GRENADINE and more. Trevor’s records his solo material until the moniker hollAnd for years and has produced and mastered albums by the likes of CAT POWER and EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY.��

昨年リリースされた10年ぶりのアルバム『Further Afield』に伴う日本ツアーが遂に決定。音源とはまた異なる、ダイナミックで圧倒的なライヴ・パフォーマンスに定評のあるプラマイの実に8年ぶりとなる今回の来日では、ジェームズ ・バルユット（Vo、G）、パトリック・ラモス（Vo、G）、クリス・ディーナー（D）の不動のトリオに加え、前身バンドVersusのリーダーにしてバルユット家の長兄リチャードがベーシストとして帯同。

スペシャル・ゲストは、名古屋、京都、東京の3公演に盟友toddle、松本は地元シーンの顔役的存在TANGINGUGUN。ツアー全公演学生1,000円割引あり。

We're jealous.

Hi friends! After a fantastic private show a week or so ago with Matt returning to the drum throne and Clara Salyer occupying the bass chair, we're getting back in the saddle for 2025, and what better way to do that than a duo tour of Japan? We're going to be joining Gary Olson (Gary Olson, Ladybug Transistor) and Ole Johannes Aleskjaer (Loch Ness Mouse) for a run of dates masterminded by OG TLA BFF Kenji Sekioka, who set up our first tour of Japan almost exactly 25 years ago (!!!) and who has been a great friend ever since. For this run it'll be me (John) on nylon string guitar and Clara on organ; should be a very nice intimate vibe. If you aren't in Japan, get there by the end of May!

UNREST's Mark Robinson and hollAnd's Trevor Kampmann have recorded three albums under three different monikers. 2011's Fang Wizard and 2023's Party Milk albums were both instrumental. For 2025's Uncomfortable Police, they've both stepped in front of the mic and created fourteen new songs which will be pressed onto opaque black vinyl and housed in a very special full-colour jacket. The physical LP will include an additional song that will not be available digitally.

This is available to pre-order now and will ship sometime in very late April or May. Shipping is included within the USA.
