The 93rd May Queen Crowning Ceremony will be held Sunday, May 5th at 4:00 pm. The location will be the Arlington Depot. Arlington's 93rd May Queen is Ms. Khanijah Mitchell. Ms. Mitchell is a senior at Calhoun County High School. Ms. Mitchell is the Valedictorian of her class. A special invitation to all former queens.

We have an opening for the position of Deputy Registrar with the Calhoun County Board of Commissioners. As a key member of our team, the Deputy Registrar will play a crucial role in supporting and overseeing various administrative and regulatory functions within the organization.

Position: Deputy Registrar
Location: Morgan, Georgia

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise daily operations related to registration processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
• Oversee the development and implementation of registration policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to registration.
• Must be willing to go to training out of the county and attend occasional meetings
• Must be willing to work 7am- 7pm on the day of elections

Qualifications:
• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
• Strong organizational and managerial skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient with computers and data entry
