We wrapped production on a new video for the Snohomish County K9 Foundation, and every time we work with this team, we're reminded of what real commitment looks like:

These handlers and their K9s train relentlessly—pursuing suspects through dense brush, finding evidence in the most challenging conditions, and responding to critical incidents most of us will never see. They're out there in all weather, all hours, putting themselves in harm's way to keep our community safe.

These dogs aren't just partners—they're highly specialized live beings that require years of training and significant investment. From initial certification to ongoing tactical training and medical care, these K9 units represent thousands of hours and dollars.

Last night, we got to see the video debut on the big screen at their auction event—watching the room rally behind these teams and their mission inspires us every time. We want a safe community for all, and we're grateful for the deputies, officers, and K9s who show up ready every single day.

Behind the lens, we witnessed something beautiful.

We came to Alderwood Compassion Center to film Marcia and her 4-year-old grand-niece Karmella's story. What we captured was so much more than we expected. Marcia walked in looking for help. She received more than temporary resources (which are also very important!), she received a community, complete with heartfelt prayer.
The look on Marcia's face when she realized she wasn't alone? That's what matters. Little Karmella's smile? Pure gold.
This is what real community looks like. This is the footage that reminds us why we do what we do--filming, with care, people who care. 🎬❤️

We're excited to have him on board, and he's already hit the ground rollin!' 🎥 We had over 200 applicants for our open position, and it certainly was a process, but we're confident we made the right choice. Welcome to A HUGE Production, Tyler!

We're working hard to wrap up our larger 2025 projects! We've filmed dozens of sports, local waterways, eye doctors, and electricians. From those filming sessions, we are producing a mini-series for each.

Besides meeting cool people doing cool things, we learn so much about each industry with each project.

For example, lately, we've immersed ourselves in the electrical industry, traveling all over WA state in hard hats, high-vis vests, glasses, gloves, and boots. Yes, we wear a lot of "industry gear" to get onto the right sites to get the right shots. Here's one of the recruitment videos we made with Cascade Chapter, NECA and IBEW Local 191, featuring Eastern WA electricians.

You'll do: Filming, editing, and digitizing services
We need:

Awhile back, we'd posted about ALL the things we wear to get the shots (we'll put it in the comments). This weekend, Chris devised a lens protector, bagged up his camera, and geared up to film a little paintball action. Here's the thing, friends: We say yes. We don't hesitate. And we get the shots.

With only 30 minutes left in our high school intern Kiera's summer program, we only had enough time to sweep up plant leaves--nope! Earlier in the day we’d spotted the Seattle Refined crew filming right here in Arlington, where A HUGE Production, is based.

Angela had a spur-of-the-moment idea:
“Want to punk the film crew?”

“Sure!” Kiera said.

We grabbed some vintage gear from our display case—a chunky Magnavox VHS camera and a '60s Fujica Super 8—wiped off the dust, ditched the shoulder straps and strolled down Olympic Avenue like we were seriously filming the film crew filming their thing. The crew did a double-take at our rigs and cracked up.

Afterwards, we got a shot with TV host Gaard and filmmaker Ty (such great sports!).

Sometimes the best education happens when you just let loose and let the cameras roll past the decades in an historic small town on a sunny day.

It's ready! And we're releasing it today, the last day of our high school student Kiera's summer internship with us. 🥹We collaborate regularly with other businesses and organizations, and Kiera experienced that firsthand!

She and Kailyn, an intern at the Stilly Valley Chamber of Commerce, planned a video highlighting the vendors at the Arlington Farmers Market. Both Kailyn and Kiera worked hard to plan, host, star, shoot, and finalize the video. Kiera even learned Blackmagic Design's DiVinci Resolve 20 editing software which she used to edit and apply the finishing touches. 🙌🎬

It's our GOLDEN BIRTHDAY!

6 years ago (on August 6th), we started A HUGE Production. Six years of late nights, long days, creative breakthroughs, amazing clients, and learning opportunities with every project. Six years ago, we took a chance, put all of our eggs in one basket, wrote our own storyboard, and pushed record.

To everyone who's worked with us, believed in us, or just stuck around to see what we'd do next - thank you. This wild dream turned into something real, and you're all a part of it. Still goin' strong, still goin' HUGE. 🎬
