The Coterie

Originally, The Coterie was a fashionable and famous set of English aristocrats and intellectuals of the 1910s, widely quoted and profiled in magazines and newspapers of the period. Many were the children of The Souls (a small, loosely-knit but distinctive social group in England, from 1885 to about 1920). The goal of the current organization is as follows:

The goal of The Coterie is to create a

unique and fun social outlet for women, which encourages the nurturing of friendships to create lasting relationships. This will be accomplished with integrity and southern values, all the while striving to be positive role models for young women in our community and using our means for charitable giving.
