Production Tip #94 (6 more to go)
Understanding how AD's communicate gives you a better understanding of the importance of your job duties and responsibilities. Imagine being able to think 5-10 steps ahead because you know what is expected from you on set at a Union level. I would say you are immediately creating value for yourself. This isn't just for Assistant directors, this is for all of crew and talent.
Be better informed,
I've dealt with department arguments, late talent, gear missing, locations that have fallen through, emergencies on set day etc, car accidents etc.
How do you handle these things? Glad you asked.
Come join us In our AD Film Course by UTubeSensations with myself and Nadirah Actress Shakir-Ramseur as you gain insight on how to operate as the 1st Assistant Director on set.
