I first saw this turkey at 11 a.m. in section 3 when checking the site for our 3 p.m. I took this clip just after 4 p.m. and it had worn a path around the base of a private marker. Either it was attracted to or agitated by its reflection.

We hadn’t spotted the turkeys for a few weeks, but we had recently seen an increase in the number of foxes and coyotes. Today, after one of our services, we came across this turkey out for a nosh in the rain.

After a flyover on one of our services, I noticed an additional aircraft circling the cemetery. I’d seen this plane before flying around at the same time of the year and knew there would eventually be parachutists from the United States Army Parachute Team, also known as the Golden Knights.
