President Biden is at the White House in Washington, D.C.
The formal White House news day this Friday May 13, 2022 is set to begin at 1:00 PM EDT.
TODAY The President has scheduled several public events.

FRIDAY May 13, President Biden will welcome His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan and his Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein to the White House. This will be the second visit King Abdullah has made to Washington during the Biden Administration. The visit will reinforce the "..close friendship and enduring partnership between the United States and Jordan, ..a critical force for stability in the Middle East,.. strategic partner and ally of the United States."
ALSO FRIDAY May 13, President Biden will take part in the "U.S.-ASEAN Special Summit at the Department of State."

9:30 AM President Biden will receive a closed briefing (The 'PDB') from a senior member of the Intelligence Community.
10:45 AM President Biden will "welcome His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein to the White House; this visit reinforces the close friendship and enduring partnership between the United States and Jordan."
2:30 PM President Biden will join meeting in the White House Roosevelt Room with ".. local elected officials, chiefs of police, and a community violence intervention expert from cities across America that have benefited from using American Rescue Plan funding to increase spending on community policing and public safety programs."

6:00 PM President Biden will leave the White House from the South Lawn en route to New Castle, Delaware.
6:55 PM President Biden will arrive at the Delaware Air National Guard Base in New Castle, Delaware.
YESTERDAY Thursday May 12, 2022 the formal White House news day began at 2:39 PM EDT.

At about 10:15 AM EDT President Biden and Vice President Harris were briefed privately in the Oval Office by a senior member of the Intelligence Community on domestic and international developments of consequence to U.S. national security.
In the evening, at around 5:50 PM President Biden welcomed "..Leaders of ASEAN countries and the ASEAN Secretary General to the White House and takes a family photo as part of the U.S.-ASEAN Special Summit."
The President walked from The White House Residence with Asian Leaders to a "specially created podium for a photo." The President together with all the leaders began walking toward the White House State Dining Room.
At about 6:00 PM President Biden hosted a dinner for the Leaders of ASEAN countries and the ASEAN Secretary General in the White House State Dining Room.
