How grateful am I??? Check out these 16 drawings I received from kindergarten students at a school in Pennsylvania. Their teacher read each of my books to them and asked them to draw a scene from their favorite book. I’m so impressed with these kids! Their handwriting, their illustrations skills, and the gratitude they are able to express. Kids do make the world go round!

Hi everyone! Kaeden, illustrator extraordinaire of my books, teaches at Academy for Boys in Washington DC and is going to take her 8th graders on a summer trip to Europe! Traveling is a first-time experience for her students, and they don't have some of the basics such as luggage. So, I'm sharing this fundraiser in the event you'd like to participate and help with the purchase of luggage so these boys can travel in way they thought was only reserved for others. Today is a very special day for me because it was 14 years ago on this very day when I sat on a mountain top in Bhutan and wrote out the script for my very first book in this journal. Never mind that it took me 12 years to get the courage to actually publish! I still don’t know exactly what I’m doing as an indie author but I am so excited every time I get feedback on how my books inspire kids into action. Thank you for all the support!
