"On September 4, 2022, Dominic answered God’s call.

His last words were whispered to me, his wife: “I love you too.” My heart filled with joy and sorrow as he was unresponsive for a few hours prior, and in my heart, I knew these would be his last words. Once again, he gave his wife everything she needed, no matter what his state was.

He fought hard and was called home on Sunday, the Lord’s Day—very fitting for such a strong Catholic Man. His family surrounded him, once again allowing me to have what I needed.

His breathing pattern changed. I knew it was the end. With Misty Mountains by Peter Hollens and Tim Frost playing repeatedly in the background, I made sure to fill in one last request: I was holding his hand when he left us here on earth.

At 12:23, I made sure I kept my promise to my husband. He peacefully took his last breath, and in the midst of the tears from his passing, I was brokenhearted and had lived all of my vows to the fullest. “For better or for worse; for rich or for poor, In sickness or in health, I will love you.”

I silently removed my wedding ring from my left hand to my right hand.
Our bond was broken.
I now am facing the world as a widow.
Heartbroken but refusing to be broken.

During all this time of sadness, sorrow, pain, and suffering, my husband remained stoic, positive, and encouraging. The vibrant light he shone upon God was inspiring. He still always ensured that everyone around him was at peace and happy.

The support and love we received from the community were overwhelming. Since we could never repay anyone, we decided to pay it forward.

Vaspire means – “Do good things.”
Live out the virtues of life; have virtuous aspirations.
“316” is Love as in John : 316.

Thus, Vaspire316 was born. And Dominic’s legacy will live on..."

We complain and complain.. and complain some more. We protest, post on social media, blah blah blah.. We demand better Veteran representation.

When we finally get it, it’s not good enough, and someone is always hating and comparing. Veterans eat their own when they aren’t getting attention also.

There won’t be any actual growth or evolution in our community if we continue down this path.

The veteran community is literally the players hater club from the Dave Chappelle skit.

We’ve got 2 veterans running for VP.. and now veterans are attack other veterans based on their service. This isn’t progress folks.

If you attack fellow veterans because they didn’t do X,Y, or Z.. then you can’t be an advocate you’re just a hater. Veterans are killing themselves for less and we are arguing about nonsense. Grow up! Set then example.

8 months as a member officially at Bad Batch CrossFit After a few horrible nights on hospital couch waiting for my son to be born. 275 lbs on the deadlift tonight. ✅
Don’t think I’ve lifted this much since High School. I see so many fellow dads and veterans my age just wasting away their youth and not taking care of their bodies. I’m 330 lbs. I can run, lift, squat, crawl, shoot, and play with my children. CrossFit has changed my life. Get to the gym! Lift weights and talk to strangers. 🤙🏻❤️ 🇺🇸

Incase anyone forgot this is how our flag should be flown. When you visit other countries you see first hand how lucky we truly are. We can speak out against our government. Women can vote and have a voice, compared to other countries where they would be executed.

There’s no perfect American or political party but if we remain UNITED then we can be perfect together.

I love my country and the amazing men & women that have served to protect our constitution and ideals.

What: Salmon fishing on lake michigan

When: friday july 26th

Where: Kewaunee Wisconsin

We have the opportunity to send either 5 veterans, currently serving, or first responders to kewaunee wisconsin for a day of fishing with our friends Buzz Charters LLC on the "Medusa"

The selected individuals will meet up with Alex at the harbor at a time TBD

You WILL BE responsible for your own Wisconsin fishing license, great lakes stamp as well as travel to and from the event. Lodging not provided. Those selected will be responsible for any snacks and beverages(no alcohol) they'd like. Alex will provide waters. Tips not required but strongly encouraged as your catch will be filled for you once back on land.

Today marks, offically 17 years of veteran advocacy. 🙌🏻🇺🇸 I started helping fellow service members with college benefits in my various units. I was one of a few active guard members in 2007 going to college full time. Obviously in 17 years I’ve met some haters and people that aren’t obsessed with helping veterans like I am. They have tried so hard to get me fired, in trouble, and ignore my impact. So I started the Podcast. The #1 veteran podcast in Wisconsin. In person interviews with all types of veterans, celebrities, community leaders, business owners, etc. Sharing information, knowledge , resources, and stories for the masses. ‼️Protect Our Farms‼️ Back in August I gathered a bunch of veterans together to have some fun and blend their skills into something new. I gave them a Task & Purpose.
