EAGAN, MN - Just before 4 PM Eagan Fire crews with mutual aid from Burnsville Fire Department responsed to a working kitchen fire at a home in the area of 1300 block of Berry Ridge Road. Crews were able to quickly get the fire knocked down.
Eagan Fire was also paged out for a vehicle into building at Orangetheory at Central Park Commons around 4:07 PM, but were canceled after an officer with Eagan Police confirmed no structural damage. The vehicle ran into the handicapped sign in front of the building. No injuries reported.

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN - Around 10:45 AM on Sunday, January 7th, police from several agencies in both Hennepin County and Carver County were in an off and on pursuit of a vehicle. The reason for the pursuit is unknown, but speeds reached near 100 MPH at times. The pursuit ended when the vehicle drove into a dead-end road near the Home Depot in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, around 11:18 AM. The driver of the vehicle is now in custody.

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA - 11:57 AM: Several area fire departments are on the scene of a reported houseboat fire at River Grove Harbor Inc.
At 12:03 PM, this fire was upgraded to a working fire with mutual aid called in from Eagan, Rosemount, and Mendota Heights Fire Departments.
Inver Grove Trail is closed in the area of 102nd St East as rigs are staged on the road.
At 2:56 PM, the fire was marked as out, with all units cleared the scene by 3:04 PM.

BLOOMINGTON, MINNESOTA - Around 11:40 AM, law enforcement and MnDOT were in the area of eastbound I-494 and Xerxes Ave, searching for some animals reported to be on the highway. It appears they have found the animals as of noon, but some lingering traffic delays continue in the area.

BROOKLYN CENTER, MINNESOTA - Westbound I-94 between MN 252 and MN 100 up in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, remains closed late this morning as crews continue their cleanup after a semi-truck tipped over early this morning. The Minnesota Department of Transportation estimates the road should stay closed until about 1 PM this afternoon.

APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA - Around 2:47 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2023, the Apple Valley Police and Fire Department were called out for a two-vehicle injury accident at 140th Street and Pilot Knob Road. Initial reports were saying at least one vehicle rolled over and another was smoking. The accident was blocking northbound Pilot Knob and westbound 140th Street traffic.

12:25 PM Update: Crews are working to clear the remaining debris and vehicles from the crash scene. A single lane westbound has been reopened.

EAGAN, MINNESOTA - Several departments are responding to a fire at Gopher Resource off Yankee Doodle Road.
This has been upgraded to a 5th Alarm Fire with an extension into the roof. Emergency personnel briefly closed Dodd Road in both directions in the fire area because of reduced visibility across the roadway.
