Fun Fact: Parts of Texas and Arkansas have seen more snow from this last winter storm than we have seen all season in the Twin Cities. The MSP airport has measured 8.7" of snow since July 1st. There are snowfall reports southwest of Amarillo, Texas of 9.6", 13.0" near Mena, Arkansas, and 9.6" north of Little Rock, Arkansas!

Crash in WSP/SSP on 52NB near Butler

BLOOMINGTON, MN - We are working to gather more information on a police incident that occurred late Wednesday morning, January 1, 2025, at the Cedar Commons Apartments in Bloomington, Minnesota. From what we gathered, at least two individuals were detained by law enforcement. We have contacted Bloomington Police for more information and will provide an update once we know more.

EAGAN, MN: Around 11:06 PM on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, Eagan Fire and Eagan Police, with mutual aid from the Burnsville Fire Department, were called out to a reported possible structure fire at the Aspenwoods Apartments in the 1100 block of Duckwood Trail. The first units arrived on the scene within 3 minutes and quickly confirmed a small fire on a stove in one of the apartments. Emergency personnel quickly extinguished the fire, and mutual aid was canceled. Emergency units appeared to have cleared the scene by around 11:50 PM. BURNSVILLE, MN: Around 9 PM, Burnsville Fire, Burnsville Police, and Minnesota State Patrol were dispatched for a reported vehicle fire on southbound I-35E just south of Cedar Avenue. The vehicle was in the left lane. Thankfully, turned out to be another overheat!

A look at the dense fog this evening from Apple Valley, Minnesota. A reminder that a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect across the Twin Cities Metro until noon on Monday. Most of the Twin Cities Metro reports already show visibility around a half mile or less!

EAGAN, MN: Just after 1:20 pm, Eagan Police and Fire were dispatched to a possible vehicle fire on southbound Cedar Avenue between Diffley and Cliff Road.
