07/24/2024 Greetings everyone! It's been another one of those boring weeks for us, but honestly we relish the time off. This blog isn't always the most formal and polished of our works, but we still like to try and give you something useful if possible. 07/18/2024 Days late and a dollar short as usual lately, many thanks for your patience friends. It’s been an interesting week. 07/09/2024 Welcome back friends. My sincerest apologies for my absence once again. Let me tell you, I thought I was feeling emotional a few weeks ago when I last posted, but since then we lost our beloved doggo. His death sent me over the edge, where I was already barely holding on emotionally. I can play tough through most things and do my grieving in solitude, but the floodgates couldn’t hold any more....

Forgive the sudden silence and lack of blogs. The blackhat family experienced three deaths last week and we are taking a moment to grieve with friends and family.

I will be back with more updates about our events and podcast later this week.

In the meantime, hug your loved ones and tell them what they mean to you for tomorrow is never promised and today is a gift.

5/22/2024 Tl;dr We went to two shows, recorded two podcast episodes, and now mama is BIG tired. Also doing lots of art stuff. Nighty night. What a week it’s been… I am officially exhausted after a very long weekend of shows and (dramatic pause…) FINALLY recording our first two episodes of the Behind the SoundBoard Podcast. I don’t usually make it to many shows these days, but last weekend I attended two, of sorts, for two different bands....

05/03/2024 Sorry for the silent weeks. I’ve been enjoying the nice weather, doing a ton more plotting for the podcast and got myself a nice respiratory illness. Since we are a small operation that means if I am too sick to write the blog/posts/etc, there’s no one else available to step in and publish it for me. Good news is that it looks like we have a date scheduled to record episode one of the podcast, a solid name picked out, and we are ready to roll....
