This is absolutely heartbreaking news that just came through our news feed. Kevin Oicle was a fixture in the high-performance snowmobile scene for well over 30 years, and was one of the nicest people you'd ever find in our sport. He was a good guy, a good friend, and will be missed by many for a long time to come. Keeping Jen, as well as Kevin's family and friends in our good thoughts and prayers.

Godspeed, Kevin. Thanks for all of the smiles, laughs, and great conversations over the years. 😥😢🙏

Some forthcoming tweaks to the 2025 Snowmobile USA Show, at Novi. Adding powersports to the mix brings the Novi Show into alignment with events like Haydays, where a cross section of motorsports enthusiasts, vendors, and displayers will be sharing the same floorspace.

We're diehard high-performance snowmobile enthusiasts here at Super Sled Online, but we also very much understand the current business climate across the entire motorsports spectrum, and this move makes sense to us. We'd much rather seen a full Powersports Show, then have the Novi Show go away altogether.

Hope to see a lot of you there in November!

Yes, it does appear that Cat's been sold.....but until we see an official press release from the new owners, we're going to temper our expectations.

Yes, the rumors are true: Textron DID say that it closed on the sale of the Arctic Cat division. We're awaiting the press release from the new owners: Stay tuned. The 2024 PS-800 Class on the asphalt was a slugfest between two of the fastest teams in the sport, with Dennis Mahar's Red Sled being piloted by Walter Joy, and the Farnen Racing Black Sled throttled by Brian Pretzel. These two traded ET records all season long in the low 5.20 range, and it was a blast to follow both teams.

Looking forward into 2026, will we continue to see these two teams at the top of the heap, and laying down some 5-teen passes in the process? Or will there be another sled or two in the mix, pushing the PS-800s to be even faster and quicker this summer?
